What is WhatCanIBuyThere?

A free site that shows what a budget buys in other countries. You enter an amount and choose two countries, and we show what that money buys in each, using real local shop prices and dated exchange rates.

What is it not?

It is not a shop, a marketplace, a site that compares shops, or a budgeting app. We do not sell or promote anything shown here, and we never name shops or brands.

What rules does it follow?

  • Real prices only. Nothing is estimated, modelled or made up.
  • Everyday products, not brands. You see "milk, 1 L", never a label or a shop.
  • Open limits. Every page says how recent the prices are and what is missing.
  • No verdicts on countries. We do not call a country cheap or expensive; we show what a budget buys.
  • Where you live, the currency you budget in and the language you read are three separate choices.

What does it cover today?

Today the site has local prices for 55 products in 11 cities, read on 8 November 2026. A country or category is added only when we have real prices for it.
